A MOVEMENT BY MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SPEAKING
EST. 2025
Every voice deserves
a stage.
The Let Them Speak Movement - because working hard, showing up, and giving your all should never go unheard.
THE STORY BEHIND THE MOVEMENT
It started with one question.
There is a student somewhere in Singapore right now, rehearsing their speech in the mirror at midnight. He has practiced every pause, every gesture and every word.
They show up to the selection and give everything they have.
They did not get chosen. Not because they weren't good enough, but because there were only so many slots available.
Just like that, their voice disappears. Back into the classroom, back into the crowd.
Unheard.
"What happens to the students who prepared just as hard, cared just as deeply but was simply not selected? Does that mean they have nothing to say?"
That question never sat right with Adeline, our founder of Ministry of Public Speaking. And after years of watching this story repeat, she decided to do something about it.
In 2025, what began as Celebration of Voices evolves into something bigger. Something even bolder. And meaningful.
WHAT IS THIS MOVEMENT?
Not a competition. Not an audition.
The Let Them Speak Movement is a platform that is inclusive, open and unapologetic. It is a safe space where every young person gets a chance to stand up and be heard - on topics that they care about, in their own words.
Without needing to be the "best" to deserve the stage.
Speaking is not a privilege for the selected few.
It is a right for every single person.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Three things we believe in.
No Trophies. No Ranking. Just voices that matter.

Safe Space
No judgement. No elimination. Just an audience that shows up to listen.

Every voice counts
You don't need a trophy or a teacher's nomination to join us. You just need something to say.

Growth over perfection
We are not here to produce polished performers. We want to show young people that their voice matters. Real and raw voice.

"
What breaks my heart is not someone who speaks imperfectly. It is someone who never gets the change to speak at all.
The Let Them Speak Movement exists because every young person carries a story worth telling. And it is our job to build the stage for them. A safe space not just for the ones who win.
For all of them.
